Why Costa Navarino
The largest golf destination in Greece.
On the Ionian coast of the Arcadian Peloponnese, Costa Navarino has quietly become one of the Mediterranean's most serious golf destinations. Three championship 18-hole courses, an academy layout and a fourth course in the wider estate share one of Europe's mildest year-round playing climates.
From Villa Arcadia it's a 75 to 90 minute drive depending on which course you've booked — easily paired with a long lunch on the Kalamata seafront on the way back to the villa.

The Dunes Course
Bernhard Langer's original Costa Navarino design — firm, fast, and threaded through olive groves and a meandering river. The closing holes flirt with the Ionian and the seaside light is at its best in the late afternoon.

The Bay Course
Carved into a hillside above Navarino Bay, with dramatic elevation changes and four holes hugging the cliffs. Arguably the most spectacular sea views of any course in the Mediterranean.

The Hills Course
An inland championship layout climbing through pine, oak and ravines. Strategic, shot-shaper's golf with panoramic views back down to the coast.

The International Olympic Academy Course
A bold, large-scale course set in rolling countryside near Ancient Olympia's spirit — wide fairways, big greens and long, memorable par-fives.

A full short-game area, driving range and par-3 course for warming up, taking a lesson, or playing a relaxed evening nine before dinner.
What to expect
Tour-grade conditioning, relaxed pace.
Greens roll true and quick, fairways are immaculate, and caddies and buggies are available on every course. Pace of play is comfortable — four hours is normal, even in season.
Clubhouses are full-service, with pro shops, locker rooms and terraces overlooking the closing holes. English is universal.

Best seasons.
- April – June · Cool mornings, green fairways, our favourite window for full days on the course.
- September – November · Warm, dry, quiet fairways and the best light of the year.
- July – August · Hotter; book first tee-times or twilight rounds and the courses still play beautifully.
